Runwaytime Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 13, 2026

Runwaytime is a scheduling, shared calendar, file, and itinerary app. This policy explains what information the app uses, why it is used, and how you can control it.

Information You Provide

You may enter calendars, events, locations, notes, travel details, file attachments, status labels, member email addresses, invite links, account email addresses, display names, and other planning content. Some content is stored locally on your device. If you sign in or enable shared calendar features, relevant account and shared calendar data may be sent to Runwaytime servers to provide online access and collaboration.

Account and Shared Calendar Data

If you use account login or shared calendar features, Runwaytime may process your account email, display name, authentication token, server user ID, shared calendar settings, invited member email addresses, invite codes, calendar metadata, events, notes, attachments, and related sync status. This information is used to authenticate you, keep shared calendars available to invited members, and synchronize updates across devices.

How We Use Information

We use information only to operate features you request, including account authentication, shared-calendar membership and invitations, event synchronization, file and travel-detail display, customer support, security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and account or data deletion. Runwaytime does not use your calendar content for advertising and does not sell personal information.

Device Permissions

Runwaytime asks for permission only when a feature needs it:

Local Storage

Runwaytime stores app data on your device so the app can remember calendars, events, files, custom labels, account state, shared calendar settings, and preferences. You can delete local content inside the app or remove the app from your device to delete app data managed by iOS.

Cloud Storage and Sync

When cloud login or shared calendars are enabled, selected account, calendar, event, member, attachment, and sync data may be transmitted to and stored on Runwaytime servers. This is used to provide login, shared calendar access, invitation handling, and cross-device synchronization. Do not add sensitive information to shared calendars unless you intend invited members to access it.

Authentication and Security

Passwords are stored by the server using one-way password hashing. Authentication tokens are stored on supported Apple devices using the iOS Keychain after migration from legacy local app storage. Access to shared calendars is checked against server membership and permissions. The current service may use an HTTP endpoint while domain filing and certificate deployment are pending, which means network traffic is not yet protected by HTTPS in transit. Avoid placing highly sensitive or confidential information in cloud or shared-calendar fields until HTTPS is available.

Retention

Local information remains on your device until you delete it in the app or remove the app, subject to iOS backup behavior. Cloud account and shared-calendar information is retained while your account or relevant shared calendar remains active. Server operational records and deleted-item synchronization records may be retained for a limited period for synchronization, security, backup, and recovery. Information may be retained longer when required by law or needed to resolve abuse, security, or legal claims.

Sharing and Exports

If you invite a member, export a PDF, share a backup, open Apple Maps, copy an invite link, or send files to another app, the information you choose to share may leave Runwaytime and be handled by the receiving service, app, or invited person.

Data Deletion

You can delete local calendars, events, files, and backups in the app. If you use a cloud account, sign in and use Service Center > Account & Data > Delete Cloud Account to delete your cloud account and server-side personal data. After deletion, the device is signed out and local data remains on the device. Shared calendars that other members still use may remain available to the remaining members. Contact support@runwaytime.app if you need help with deletion or access.

Your Choices and Rights

You may review or edit account and calendar information in the app, withdraw optional device permissions in iOS Settings, leave shared calendars, delete local content, sign out, or request account deletion. You may contact us to ask about access, correction, deletion, or other privacy rights available under applicable law. We may need to verify the request before acting on account data.

Third Parties

Runwaytime does not sell personal information, does not use third-party advertising, and does not track users across other companies' apps or websites. The app may rely on Apple system services, such as Sign in with Apple, Photos, Calendar, Notifications, Maps, file previews, and sharing, when you use related features. If you use cloud login or shared calendars, Runwaytime uses server infrastructure to authenticate accounts and synchronize shared data. Information you intentionally send through another app or service is governed by that recipient's policies.

Children

Runwaytime is not directed to children under the minimum age required to consent to data processing in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect a child's personal information without appropriate authorization. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.

Changes

We may update this policy as Runwaytime changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
